Robert Turpin is native coastal NW Florida. Robert is a graduate of University of West Florida and has been the Escambia County Marine Resource Division Manager since 2000. Marine Resource Division Programs include: Waterway Management, Waterway Access, Artificial Reefs and Special Projects. Robert specializes in artificial reef construction, and has deployed 170,000 tons of artificial reefs for Escambia County, including the world’s largest artificial reef: decommissioned aircraft carrier USS Oriskany. Special Projects include Education and Outreach activities, internship opportunities, Coastal Cleanups, fishing tournaments and Kids Fishing Clinics.
Our scales have been certified, therefore I am able to verify any IGFA record fish. Angler is responsible for determining potential eligibility and requesting certification.
